We are thinking of taking OHbaby! Coffee Catchup nationwide!! Would you pay $20 to listen to Dorothy Waide, OHbaby! Expert and Baby Whisperer and get a fabulous Goodie Bag? This would cover Dorothy's travel costs. Let us know your thoughts! :)

I think it might be helpful if you give some idea of the type of stuff she might cover and her philosophies so people can determine if they are in line with their own personal approach. I think the term baby whisperer is bandied around and I know a lot of them provide "advice" which is not in line with recent research.
For example does she advise on controlled crying or CIO as it is quite a controvesial topic and those who don't agree with it might not want to go to a workshop which included it.
Also the goodie bag always challenges me as while everyone loves free stuff it might not be in line with some people's personal philosophy - e.g. formula, baby food samples if people do BLW, disposable samples. Basically all those things designed to lure people in. The companies love throwing things at people as so called "free" but let's not forget their motivation behind it.

I might be interested but agree an outline of what would/might be talked about would be good. Also would coffee catchup be limited in numbers?
The goodie bag is a great idea, my view on them is if there is one thing you use from it super, you can pass on the other bits you don't like or want.

I think $20 could be too much, there are definitely weeks where $20 for an event is out of my budget. Also, places like The Parenting Place have similar talks (without the goody bag) for $10.
