My DH wished me a Happy Valentines day at some early hour of the morning (I was feeding bub and still half asleep). Then once awake he said it again and askd me to marry him again (it's our 9 year engagement anniversary) I said as long as I got a bit more sleep first

We were going to go out to lunch, but SIL (who was going to look after the 2 middle kids) has put her back out

Nothing here. But went to playgroup and one of the mums had made heaps of heart shaped cookies, and we set up little bowls of icing, lollies, sprinkles etc and the kids (and adults) had a blast decorating and eating them!

My DH and I don't do Valentines Day.
But someone baked valentines mini cupcakes for everyone at work so that's me sorted.

I've already had 3
They're for the baby... ahem....

I thought DH had forgotten, which was fine as I'm not really feeling well enough to fuss about it (and we don't normally do holidays anyhow), but he brought me a potted flower and some M&Ms when he came home for lunch, lol.

DH remembered before I did, and I got a Happy Valentines Day and a hug.  Not expecting anything later, but sometimes he does random acts of kindness.

I bought DH a single red rose for when he gets home from work.  He's been a real champion through all my early preggy symptoms.

I got a valentines day text, lol.

I ordered a chocolate cake to be delivered to hubby at work though... we don't usually 'do' valentines day as such, but this year hubby has really earned it (looking after the kids and house as well as working full-time while I am away on midwifery placement).

ETA: He loved getting a cake delivered, btw, it *quote* "made him look awesome" *unquote* haha!

DH ordered me a single red rose, but it didn't show up at work - i know he ordered it because he had to ask me my actual work address

I always get DH chocolate

lol I think DH forgot and I have no idea why, as he has his own phone, but he sent out a bulk message to what seemed like 20+ people, asking them to forward on 'Happy Valentine's Day Rachel, love Tasi'

so I then replied 'Haha thank you!' to all these people lol.

He's away this week so all I've done tonight is eat chocolate and watch TV
