As everyone is probably well aware child care is a hard thing to get right.

Reciently I separated from my ex, we have two kids together, they are currently living with him as he is a fantastic dad and lives near their school and daycare, i had to move further away unfortunatly.

up until reciently he had his mother live with him which enabled him to continue working and myself as cannot afford it other wise, but she has reciently left, leaving a gap of before school/daycare and after drop offs.

Neither of us can afford to extend the daycare hours or before and afterschool care.

We are looking for someone that maybe studying or has part time work that maybe looking for somewhere to stay and in lieu of rent would be willing to look after the children before and after school, take them to school and pick them up with vehicle provided.

We used to have an au pair but dont have the time to search for another one as with school starting soon we are desparate for one of us not to have to stop working and go on benefits to look after the kids.

If you know of anyone that is good with kids and would suit the situation please get in contact.

any other suggestions very welcome.

Have you tried placing an ad with student job search? Otherwise lots of nannies/tourists advertise on Gumtree looking for work.
