So four years later I really need to sort out something better for that big dress am sick of it in bedroom wardrobe really need more storage especially since Christmas.

I don't want to get rid of it but don't really know why am keeping it, its not as if I expect DD to want it....its currently in its dry cleaning bag which is a bit plastic...don't think thats good enough. I want to put it up in roof out of the way. Think I remember something about acid free paper. What have others done?

Mine is wrapped in acid free tissue paper and stored in a plastic box in the bottom of the wardrobe.

I'm not sure that I would put it in the roof as the changes in temperature might encourage discolouration??

Hi there. I bought a wedding dress box from the dry cleaners when I got the dressed cleaned. They wrapped it in acid free paper and folded the dress for me. I can remember it being very expensive but its been well worth it. I have mine sitting above my wardrobe. Its massive and like you, I don't know why I'm keeping it. I just know I can't sell it or get rid of it!
