I am racking my brains trying to think of something nice for my boy's nanny. She is such an awesome lady and he really loves her, so i want to say a special thanks to her for that.
Any suggestions?

I was a nanny for nearly four years and some of the things I got were a funky new hand bag, voucher for a facial, voucher for mani/pedi, meal voucher etc. One of my fav pressies was a photo book of the kids though!

Thanks Sarah. Yes i was thinking of mani/pedi from me and maybe something from him, flowers etc. I am not the most imaginative present buyer!

I was hoping to get something nice for our home daycare provider, but sadly it is not in the budget this Christmas (and his last day is tomorrow!) so I am really hoping a nice note about how much I appreciate her work will be a nice Christmasy gesture. I'm sure your nanny would love to hear that she is appreciated!
A mani-pedi sounds divine!

I'm not the sort of person that would go and have a facial or a mani/pedi 'just because' so vouchers for things like that were great

I was thinking of getting itunes vouchers for childcare people...is this a dumb idea? mostly I was thinking they can use them to get music they might want to use at work but also could use for whatever music they like themselves instead if they want? Or is that lame?

I bought Westfield vouchers for our nanny last year.
