Hi,
I have a two yr old girl and also a 7mth baby... I am at my wits end!! Sleeping during the day is fine for bubs but at night she wakes, doesnt really seem interested in water or milk is awake on and off for several hours and then goes back to sleep as if nothing has happended! She has two teeth, I have used bonjela, pamol, rescue sleep remedy and I just dont know what else to do to try and get her to sleep through the night...

Any suggestions please. My 1st daughter was a peace of cake and she slept through from 3 months old, lucky I know. I am now back at work 2 days a week and am shattered and now have a chest infection and ENT infection as I am so run down no doubt... help please

if she is teething I have found nurfeon better than pamol.

Otherwise I would suggest having a look at the sleepstore website and they have heaps of advice on sleeping problems.

hugs....I have an 18 mth old who still wakes at least 2x in the night, so I know how hard it can be to look after 2 kids and function on little sleep.

Hugs DaisyBoo2 that is rough. Like Mum2ET said, the sleepstore have a lot of different sleep routines designed for the different ages. Could be worth a try. Just remember it won't work straight away. Could take a few days which will be hard, but worth it in the long run.

Also if you suspect the teething is getting too painful for her, nurofen does work best. Also your GP can prescribe something a little stronger than bonjela to use at night time.

have you tried an amber teething necklace? I was a bit of a cynic until I tried one, but it has made a huge difference with our wee girl. She got the first 6 teeth before I found out about them, and it was an awful time. Then put the necklace on, and teething hasn't been an issue, even the molars. We have only had to use pamol or teething powder occasionally at bedtime since. PLus it halved the dribbling straight away, and her nappy rash she gets with teething has pretty much stopped happening
