Hey Ladies , i am thinking about christmas and looking at getting my girl either a tramploine with encolusure or a swing/slide set , does anyone know any great stores in christchurch or online that sell things like this ? Basically i just want something she can play outside on and keep her entertained for a while . she is 2 but into everything and very confident with ladders , slides etc etc , I would like something that is going to last her for a few years at least .

My almost 5yr old girl still plays with her swing/slide set and tramp all the time- with her 20month old brother, so either thing will last ages!

We have put a swing and slide set that also comes with a mini tramp on the side on laybuy for his xmas and birthday present. Kmart have them for $250. I liked it as it had the mini tramp as well as all the other bits and pieces.

Same as Naysgirl... We took DD to 'test' something similar and she loved it so we are going to get her one from Xmas from Kmart most likely!

Ooh, thanks for that. I was going to get mine a trampoline for sure, but some climbing equipment would be a bonus.
ETA: I just looked them up, and while I don't think it will suit us I noticed they are on sale for $179.99!

Not sure if RD1 is all over the country but they've got some cool swing & slide set advertised at the moment, they've got 6 different things on them.

Yes it was on the Kmart website. I don't think it was an online only price. If anyone has it on layby check with the store manager. I saw a review of it that someone had gotten the store manager to give them the sale price.

Julz The Warehouse has a 10ft on sale at the moment, not sure if it is for the SI as well though or just Auckland/Nth Island. Altho a friend has told me to get at least a 12ft one for the boys and baby for xmas. Also check out Trade Me as they have heaps and they seem to offer nationwide shipping. The same firned did alot of research before they got theirs and apparently the safest enclosure are the ones where the posts attach to the legs of the tramp and the net attaches directly to the posts, clear as mud?? I have seen some tramps with the net attached to the mat of the tramp and the posts seem about 1ft away from the net. Here is an example of what I mean about what is apparently the safest enclosure: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=411547916 - Safest enclosure
