My little girl has tonsilitis and is refusing to eat anything apart from yoghurt and pureed fruit.
We took her to the doctor on Thursday last week. She's on antibiotics and is still having three breastfeeds a day.
She's looking a bit lean and I'd like to try and beef her up because I don't want her losing any more weight.
She's 12 months old. Has anyone's baby had tonsilitis? If so, what did you give him/her to eat? I tried giving her very milky and runny porridge this morning but she cried after eating a spoonful.
I just want to get better.

Have you taken her back to the doctor?
Mason is on day 8 of a 10 day course of ABs for the same thing.
He spent two days only having yoghurt, custard, pureed fruit and milk, but by day 3 had bounced back (he's 14 months). ABs should kick in within 24 hours and symptoms should be all but gone by day 3.
It might pay to get her checked out again.
Hope she's better soon

PM Kazpar. Her little girl has had so many issues with her tonsils I'm sure she'll have some good ideas. I know getting her to eat has been a problem there too.
