in especially meaning the PUL from spotlight for $10.99 a metre.
I'm going to be making some bibs as a gift and she wants them to be waterproof (whole lot of drool for such a small person) so I got some PUL to use as the backing but now thinking about it im not sure it can go through the dryer like the rest of her stuff does.
not sure where to ask so hoping this is in an ok area of the site

Well I don't know about the Spotlite PUL specifically, but I know with cloth nappies that use PUL you're not meant to put them in the dryer because it can deteriorate quickly. Might not be as important for bibs as for nappies, but they will last a lot longer if they don't go in the dryer! Plus bibs dry quickly, maybe you could suggest she just hangs them up somewhere, even on a coathanger overnight and they should be dry by morning

You can, but on a low to medium setting, and try not to do it to often as Rachel says above the PUL breaks donw quicker.

so if the front was toweling or polar fleece and the backing PUL they should still dry overnight?
she will probably be ok with drying them overnight as she has a fair amount of woolens to dry too.
Thanks Rachelsea,
I can get onto making them on my days off from work
