Help,
My bosoms have grown massively. I've gone from a 36F to a 36H (I'm 19weeks) and I'm struggling to find cheap but comfortable bras. I've a maternity bra on now (Panache maternity support rather than nursing) but I get the double boob effect by moving around a bit (bending down seems to do it). I've also an underwired bra which is so uncomfortable I would rather go bra-less. Can anyone recommend a bra that's going to give me support (not make my boobs sink in towards each other) and be comfortable (straps digging in)? And not cost me an arm and a leg? Not that Ive tried them personally but a friend of mine has one of those Ahh Bras (that you order off the tv), she said they were soooo comfy she would like sleep in them and she said they were really awesome when breastfeeding and they grow with your boobs as they grow. I think the price is $150 for 3 bras, which is not too bad, coming out to be $50 a bra. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Kiwiking I am a G myself and just got refitted this Sunday just been. I bought a Mamabel maternity bra by Triumph for $70, but I found out after I purchased it that Farmers have a 20% off all lingere at the mo, so you could pick one up for $50. They did H cups too. Have a look at the Triumph website. I also bought two Berlei tshirt type bras from Farmers for $50 each (on the same sale) in black, As I am heavier than you, I got the one with back support, quite a wide band. Don't believe you can be heavier than me bookwyrm! I've ventured into the 90kg realms now!
Will check out our Farmers tomorrow at lunch, have usually been quite diappointe din their selection but admittedly that was when I was looking at the underwired variety. As for the Aah bras, still remain unconvicnced! I think it's the ads. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

| For big boobs if you want real support I think you just have to be willing to pay for it. blestbras.com.au have a great maternity range. I like the elomi maternity bras from them. I got up to a 16H/I cup and I lived in my elomi maternity bra. Everything else just didn't compare support wise |

I found the "Zabu" bras from farmers fantastic during pregnancy, I continue to wear underwire, saving the latch down breastfeeding hot milk bras for the hospital bag.
Zabu are usually around $44.99 but are gorgeous and super comfy and the brochure that came today says 20% off. I was lucky to get mine in a red dot sale for $20.00 the knickers go up to size 20 and the bras to a H cup |

Kiwiking I can totally sympathise-and I've been having the exact same dilemma.I'm 25weeks now and have gone from an E cup to just recently an H cup, and after having gone through 3 different maternity bras already I went out and bought an underwire in desperation the other weekend, so even though its horrendously uncomfortable I'm just making do until I can afford a top maternity bra. Someone else has recommended the Triumph Mamabel bra to me too so might look into that one.
The maternity bras just seem useless for large boobs though don't you reckon?I was actually getting hard ridges along my boobs where they were just getting squished together in the middle-I think it's just not having that underwire that they don't sit right in the centre of your boobs and separate them. I think the best thing is to bite the bullet and get properly fitted (I did this early on and got a great bra but grew out of it pretty quickly)'m just putting it off cos it's sooo expensive! Oh to be a size C or D and be able to by from Kmart LOL! |

| Most maternity bras in NZ are useless for big boobs. I tried most of whats out there and elomi is by far the best. It has better support than most of my underwires. Boring to look at but who cares if it gives you fantastic support. And that's hard to find with maternity bras. But if you shop around you can get them for cheaper from overseas. So long as you know your size your sorted. Bravissimo and Clara Olivia (I think thats what its called) in the UK is great for any returns. Blest Bras in aus is also fantastic to deal with |

am just trying to find a fitting nursing bra myself - luckily my boobs have not grown too much - was a HH before pregnancy and can still fit most of my normal bras with the help of an expander now that my ribcage is bigger
most of the normal shops (farmers etc) don't cater for big boobs - am heading off to avokado this week to get fitted - they specialise in big sizes and are also online - figure once i am fitted then I can see what I can get cheaper online unfortunately when you are big you often have to pay the extra dollars to get something that is comfortable and that will care for you bust in the long term ------------- http://lilypie.com">
