I was just wanting a general idea of how long it took different babies to start crawling forwards properly once they reached the crawling backwards stage? DS has been going backwards for a week or 2 now and getting mighty frustrated (and stuck lol) so just wondering how long it took others to figure it out? We didn't have this with DD as she commando crawled for a month or so then just started crawling properly. Thanks :)

Umm Lily crawled backwards for about 2 months. Went forwards once but just kept going backwards and I constantly found her under the coffee table, couch, etc!

was around 3 weeks before Tom figured out how to go forwards. Its amazing how far they can get going backwards.

Hopefully he figures it out soon

Also I was reluctant to help her figure it out. She was never frustrated but DP and MIL always tried to encourage her without success. She got there in the end and actually it was Xmas day last year and the only encouragement she needed was wanting to join her cousins to play!
