Thanks for posting this we use these and I had no idea they are recalled. DD loves loves loves her dummy she alternates between the one with the wee blue car and the yellow digger

She only uses it when in her cot to settle herself don't like our chances of her settling with out it.

Will see how she goes tonight without it she may surprise us but might buy a new one for back up.

Just went to our local supermarket - they had a notice about the recall in the Baby section, but also some more cherub dummies for 0-6 months on the shelf. I queried with customer services who told me those packs were fine, so if any of you have babies really missing them then there are some back on the shelf that are ok.

Its interesting because it says they were sold between August 2010 & now. So babies could of had them for ages already

That's odd cause 0-6 months have being re called as well they shouldn't have any for sale ! We have had them right from birth so since December so had heaps of them about 9 sent them back today

They are exactly the same ones as what DD had from birth, so how would they know (if sending in used ones) whether they were from batches prior to Aug 2010 or not??

Guess I'd better do some dummy round-ups, I have the older girl ones, and the baby boy ones currently in use

Just had a PM from Tommee Tippee and these dummies SHOULD NOT have been on the shelf - not good by my local supermarket!

Has anyone found a similar shaped pacifier to replace these ones? I'm struggling to find one that DD will take.

We got another Tommee Tippee one too, with the hippo and turtle and clear teat, but the teat looks narrower. Hehe Catisla, my baby was quite angry about it too think he's getting used to it though!

Do those ones have a handle/ring thing? I want one with a handle as DD likes to pull it in and out and I can attach her dummy clip to it

they have sent me a couple of packs of Tommee Tippee 'ventilated comforters'

They have handles, and the same sort of teat as the cherub ones - don't look as cute though!

I have been impressed with the customer service i received from Tommee Tippee including sending me out the new dummies - they must have spoken with the supermarket cos i got a phone call from someone there to apologise

Thanks Catisla, I'll check those out! Don't want to spend a fortune finding an alternative, so helpful to hear others opinions!
