Hi all,

As you can tell- I'm obsessing! First cycle charting...

By the time anyone reads this I may already have AF, but just wanting to ask this to help me clarify what's going on with my cycle

Noticed EWCM a lot earlier than usual this time- day 11 instead of day 14 or 15. I'm pretty sure my cervix was also HSO, but I can't remember properly! FF gave me lines for oving day 11, which fits with the fact that I usually have a 25 or 26 day cycle (with some 29's in there to get my hopes up) I think I usually ov between day 12 and 15.

Since then my chart has been a bit of a shambles- from temps alone it looks more likely that I ov'd on CD18. I was finding cm that looked a bit like EWCM from CD15-18 and found more of the same a couple of days ago. Wasn;t paying too much attention though as I thought I had ov'd already!
If this was EWCM then that's great- I ov'd CD18 and I'm not even late yet. Would fit so much better with my chart.

But, it felt a bit fibrous, broke easily and almost felt gluey? I've put it down as sticky, but that doesn't explain the temps and the fact that I'm CD30 in the morning with no AF as yet.

Been having heavy cramps and lower back pain last couple days, which would normally signal the arrival of AF.

Sorry about the convoluted story! What I'm really saying is can anyone shed some light on my chart? or possibly describe what sticky cm is meant to be like?

I know it's just a waiting game but it makes it go quicker having ppl to talk about it with.

Oh and I promise I'll test sometime this weekend- I'm just reluctant coz DH thinks I'm crazy and wants me to stop wasting money on tests!

Hey Rach I would put you at CD18/19 for O by looking at the temps and I bet ig you changed you CM to EWCM on those days FF would change the date as well, but thats just me Ive only done the one month of charting as well so Im no expert, hope this helps :)

Hi Rach,

I don't want to get your hopes up and I can't help you with the CM/EWCM but cramping and lower back pain can also be a sign of pregnancy (lol, I put it with it for 2.5 weeks thinking af was on the way before testing and getting a positive).

Take it easy and test when you want to.

Good Luck!

Thanks for your replies, I think it's more likely I ov'd later too, just don't know why my symptoms didn't fit with it this month. Oh well.

Well I'll buck the trend, I've never had all that much luck with temps, but I find EWCM pretty damn reliable. And I see you had EWCM, high soft cervix, AND ovulation pain all close to CD11. I reckon you ov'd around then.

Last month, when I got my BFP I had so much cramping and lower back pain I could have sworn AF was on the way! Have you done a test recently? I say buy some cheapies online if I'm wrong and it isn't your month, then next month POAS all you want and DH can't worry about the money!
