Hi there,
I have heard that particular fragranced oils cannot be used in pregnancy, & after a stillborn baby three months ago, have just found out I may be expecting twins, so am really anxious/ nervous this time round. Can you please advise whether it is safe to use a few drops of these oils (lavendar in particular) on a neck heatpack? I am struggling to sleep properly as I have heartburn and whatnot, and found the heatpack beneficial, but am wondering if this is safe. Thank you! Lorin

I was told by the lady at Scullys lavender shop NOT to use lavender oil directly on my skin while I was pregnant. I also looked up Dr Google and found a few sites who said the same thing... I still went ahead and put a few drops in my bath and I used it to inhale because I too found it very relaxing - I guess if you are wanting to be super cautious then maybe dont use it?

Not if you were using it neat on your skin - but if you are just inhaling is okay.

I second that inhalation is ok but I wouldn't apply it neat to your skin.
