So I started temping and got a BBT thermometer from Baby 4 You, my temps seem so low though??? 35.3 - 35.85 last 3 days, do you find that using the BBT your get low temps compared to a ear thermometer? My hubby tried it too just so i could see if it was just me but his temps were low too. Just wondered if anyone could give me any more info on these, its all new to me :-)

I know temps can differ slightly depending where you take them from. I think mouth temp is a bit cooler then ahem.. bottom temp!
I think as long as you keep comparing from the same thermometer you should be right.

It is pretty confusing though!

I thought mine were low when I first started charting this month (around 35.70). But lo and behold they did go up and show an ovulation pattern according to FF. Maybe give it one cycle and if you know you've ov'd but there's no temp rise, look at changing the batteries? I'm sure it'll work though

mine have always been very low- for some of us that is normal its whether there is a rise in temp and it stays risen until AF when it will drop again (or stay up if you are preggers!) the general pattern is what matters really, not what each days temp is.
good luck! x x

I had low temps as well, its the rises that matter not necessarily individual temps.
