Anyone else had a bubba lose weight while teething?
DS2 has gained well since birth, and since starting solids has gained a little better than average. I am not worried about his weight, or his current weight... but he has lost about 500g in the last couple of weeks, which seems like a lot to me. He was weighed on same scales, first thing in the morning in a fresh nappy so we've kept the variables as similar as possible.
He's cutting his top 4 teeth all at once at the moment and has also had a bit of a cold. He's stopped eating solids and not breastfeeding too well.
Anyone else experience this? He recently saw a doc for the cold and he was happy with his overall health. But just wondering if I need to go back to the doctors over this.

DS seemed to lose weight everytime he was sick, which often meant teething too as with every tooth comes an ear infection. I'm not sure on the exact weight loss, just that when I'd take him to plunket for his check it showed he'd not gained anything or lost some.

Alex doesn't loose weight because hes always a pig but daniel does. He's lost 1kg in the last month. I realise hes older and bigger but he is only 15kg so hes not a big big boy by any means

My wee boy just had a week with a cold and was teething too- I didn't weigh him but I could tell he lost weight in that time...seems to have put it back on in the last 2 days so I think they can bounce back pretty quickly...

DD goes off her food when she's sick and due to having a blocked nose she doesn't feed as well, I top her up with a bottle - formula if I have to - to make sure she's getting enough fluid and nutrition.
