We are considering a mid winter break to Tonga but am stressing a but due to having two little ones. Any advice on where would be a good place to stay that would be children friendly or places that there would be plenty to do for our toddler etc? Any advice/ideas welcomed please! Thanks

Yeah, I suppose they would and that is what worries me a bit - can't see our toddler just wanting to hang around without things to do/places to go etc.

We went a family holiday to Fiji last year, DS was 22 months and DD2 was 6 months old. They both absolutely loved it! We were amazed at how happy they were to just do nothing, especially if that nothing involved water! We were on a boat for most of the 2 weeks, and they were so chilled out about the whole thing. I say go for it! Nothing like a gorgeous winter break

TBH I dont think Tonga is the best place for kids activities....its pretty basic and although lots of things like sailing / surfing / diving etc for adults, its pretty limited for kids. Just my opinion though - someone else might have dif experiences!

I agree with mummyfreckle. The mosquitos leave pretty nasty bites too. The island resorts are quite nice but I honestly don't remember it being kid friendly. (my dad lives there and I'm not keen on taking my girls there yet)

Snap Rainbow, we totally are too! Not tonga, but a tropical holiday! Looking at http://www.finetravel.co.nz/ - This website is great for packages,

I've heard raro is good to take kids to. But my good friend just got back from a week in port Douglas, they took their 23 month old. LOVED it!
