I've had a big blow up with SIL and her DF this afternoon about house keys (we all live together), and it's her birthday on Monday. I said earlier I would make her a cake for her birthday so she could take it into work, I went out especially today and brought the stuff that was needed to make it. Since then we had the fight and are no longer speaking and I don't see us resolving it in the next couple of days. I really just want to throw all the stuff in her face instead!!!

Do you want to resolve things? If so, I would make the cake otherwise it may escalate into something even bigger (and you get the satisfaction of taking the mature, higher ground) ------------- |

Well SIL was actually pleasant when I saw her this morning so we appear to be ignoring what happened for now which is fine with me. I still have a problem with her DF which isn't really going to resolve itself but hey I can live with that.
