I'm wanting to buy another couple of sleeping bags for DD and after a bit of a dither I'm quite taken with the woolbabe ones. However I'm totally stumped whether to get the side or front zip design. The Sleep Store NZ only sells the front zip ones, but I can get the side zip version from Woolbabe in Australia.

Pros and cons of each?

It would depend what kinda sleeper you have. If she sleeps on her back or side then I'd say go for the front zip. If she tummy sleeps then side would be better then the zip isn't going to get uncomfy for her

We've got side zip, and I think it is great. My 6 month old is currently a back sleeper, but as he gets older he will probably want to sleep on his tummy, so thought a side zip would be more comfortable.

May also depend on how much of a wriggler your bubba is. DS is super wriggly and the front zip is so much easier. In fact I am avoiding putting him into one of his winter bags as it has a side zip and want to avoid the tantrum as I hold him still to try and get the zip sorted

I have a front zip and its pretty sweet. Never thought about him sleeping on his front actually hope he doesnt get into that. Really easy to pop on and off though.

Thanks ladies

She's currently a back sleeper but who knows once she's rolling well enough to make her own decisions. Think I'll go ahead with the front zip anyway.
