Has anyone actually tried this? Did you have the seat at the required 45 degrees?

I can't quite get the recline flat enough without having the front seat way too far foward. This could be ok cos I could sit in the back when we are all in the car while the seat is in the full recline, but how long do they need the newborn recline? I wouldn't want to do it forever!

Or could I get away with a 55 degree recline?

Would love to hear your experiences

I was told by the lady at baby on the move that it is not recommended to put newborns into the radian as they tend to be too little. I think once baby is about four -six months they are big enough and able to support their weight enough. It is frustrating that they can't go straight into the seat but a capsule in designed for newborns.

Hi T-rex... I am keen for similar information as DS is about to grow out of his capsule at nearly 4mths.
