Hi, Our summer weight sleeping bags had car seat holes front and back so we could keep DD zipped up snug and strap her in her car seat and buggy. But our winter one only has the hole at the back. How does this work? Do we keep the bag unzipped to strap her in? Maybe baby brain has hit hard this morning, but I just cant figure it out! Thanks!

I would guess you have to un zip the bag from the bottom to get the thingy through. Just make sure the bag is not to bulky under the straps as in a crash it will compress, idealy you shouldnt have any sort of bulky clothing on your child as you want the straps to sit as close to their body as you can.

Could you open the bag, lie it under the straps and put the crotch piece through, then put baby in, strap in, then zip over the top?
Hard to know without actually trying it...

Does the bag have a double zip up the front? We have a gro-bag and it has a double zip, so we zip it up to where the strap will go through, and zip it down (does that make sense??) so it kind of creates a hole for it.

JAFAjaffa - good thinking -yes it does! Makes perfect sense! Thanks!
Wriggles - good point too. I'll try it and see how bulky it is.
