We have survived our first winter cold with DD and she's done really well.
I did fine I was under prepared with providing her comfort and relief.
Want to be prepared for the next one going into winter.
We do have - pamol and syringe for giving the correct dosage, dosage chart.
Baby vicks - I didn't have any of this and had to bundle DD into the car on Friday night to go grab some from a neighbour.
Saline drops and dropper - didn't have either was able to make up a saline solution getting them into her was almost impossible considering it was her nose that was upsetting her the most.
I also found having bottles and formula sachets / ebm on hand really helpful as she was struggling to feed of of me but could manage the bottle.
I would like to get an atomiser and eucalyptus oil for her room.
What else is good to have on hand for baby ailments?

Vicks vaporizers are brilliant if you can afford one.

For administering saline I just use a syringe , same as the ones or giving pamol. You can also use bm.

You can get the saline solution from the chemist and it should come with a dropper so its a lot easier to administer it.

Thats about all you can do for bubbas, but one other thing id get is Karvol! Its great stuff, you get it from the supermarket. They are little capsules that you cut open and tip the liquid over their bedding or a tiny bit on their clothes, or even a soft toy in the cot etc
I love it, works a treat!

Lavender oil for a massage or bath.
Having a shower with your baby is really good for clearing the nose too.
Some kind of barrier cream, like bepanthen, to stop their noses & chins getting sore & raw.
You can put peppermint oil or eucalyptus oil on a tissue and tuck it under their sheet near their head at night.
Thermometer?

I second this but just to add to it. When DD was really sick healthline said to shut doors and windows to your bathroom and sit in there with baby with the shower and taps on hot to create a steam room. Great for clearing noses and helping them breathe.
