Jadelles have been fully subsidised for quite a few months now and I'm guessing that a lot of us have taken good advantage of that. I don't think I'm having any side effects though I've had a few headaches and achey arm lately which might or might not be related to having recently had the 'flu. A few months on, how is yours treating you?

i got mine in december and i have been having huge issues with my periods . before i went on jadelle i was on the mini pill and on that i got irregular periods but since going on the jadelle they have become alot worse , on average i have my period about 3 weeks out of every month , i get it for about 12days (really heavy) then it will go away for about 2-3 days , then i will get it back for a few days then it will go again then a few days i will get it back for another 10-12 days , its just riduculous and my skin has just broken out the worst it ever has . i never got achne as a teenager , only when i turned about 20 and started on contreception , since then i get skin breakouts every now and then but definatly worse since going on jadelle .

Apart from that everything else has been pretty normal , i have been a bit depressed and moody but i have put that down to the earthquake and the horrible living conditions we have been in since september rather that side effects of the jadelle .

I know someone who had to get theirs removed as she was bleeding all the time. Its like the pill, doesn't work for everyone.
