If I think long enough I might be able to answer this myself but wanted to check with others too!
I am going to start expressing milk this week to build up a stock and can't remember what I did with DS1. If I pump a little after the morning feed from both side, when it comes to the next feed, which side to I start on?! Normally I offer both at a feeding and the one I finished on or the one DS2 doesn't take is the side I offer for the next feed. If I pump from both sides does that then cancel it out and we start back again? Does that make sense?!

I am fearful of mucking up my supply as I had issues with DS1 from the outset but so far I have plenty of milk for DS2.

thanks in advance.....

I don't think it matters too much, to be honest! I'm pretty sure when I was pumping after each feed, I would just swap starting sides as normal, ie just ignore the pumping. Good luck!
Have you tried the lactation cookies for building supply, and eating more protein? Both of those worked really well for me.
