Hi all...
For those who know me- yes I am thinking about doing it aaall over again. Thinking about #2.
BUT- I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's... since having Lox (it probably triggered it).
Now Im trying to gain control of a wiley thyroid.... anyone had any experience with hypothyroidism?? esp TTC. Ive heard it can affect ovulation??

Did you find that different times of the month affected your thyroid more/or less?

Hi there, I'm 22 and in my second month TTC our first.. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2008 and since then it's been all about trying to get on the right dosage of thyroxine- a bit tricking seeing as it's progressive. Once they sort that for you though things should be fine.

I believe that I am ovulating as I have all the associated signs, but I haven't yet started charting or using OPK's so I don't know for certain if/when I ovulate. And ofcourse I also have fibromyalgia so if anything was wrong it could be due to that...

Will let you know how things go for me if this thread hangs around long enough.. Wishing you the best for your TTC journey!

Hi there,

I have hypothyroidism along with polycystic ovaries....We TTC for a few months before getting referred to a specialist who tested me and discovered that I wasn't ovulating...went on Clomid to induce ovulation and got UTD first month! Maybe that would help? All the best :)
