Hey guys,
DH runs a small business, we currently have one employee. I was running all the payroll stuff on a spreadsheet to accrue leave etc but it's just really not working for us (and I suspect I stuffed something up as well) also its just so confusing and isn't easy to follow or generate a payslip from!
So I want to use a payroll system that will do all this for me and I can just enter the hours worked per month and the rate and for it to accrue, calculate, conform and generate a payslip for us!
Does anyone know of an easy system you can use out there? Would it be best to link it with something that does our accounts as well like MYOB or Xero (we currently do this all seperately) Am waiting to talk to our accountant but he's pretty hard to get hold of and I need to sort this out urgently!
TIA

DH uses Xero for his business accounts and highly rates it.
I think I read somewhere that Xero is about to launch a payroll solution pretty soon.
Also http://www.ipayroll.co.nz - iPayroll looks pretty good. (Can be integrated with Xero)

There is this payroll system http://www.kwikpay.co.nz/ - kwikpay
I have personally never used it but have looked at the demo and it looks like it would do all you need, plus it is free to download and use if you have less that 5 employees.

Xero launched a Payroll package this week, so definately check it out.
We changed from MYOB to Xero last year and honestly it was the best thing I have done. It has eased our workload immensly and it is a fabulous product to use!

MYOB Accounting and Payroll integrate which saves you lots of time and it's really quick and easy once you have everything set up.
