I've worked out that a friend is on here, and I know she knows who I am as my avatar was a pic of me.
Do it play all innocent and pretend I dont know its her, or am I better to mention something that catches her out in a hope she tells me its her. Or am I better to play dumb and wait for the big news?
I think she could do with some real life talking but i dont really know how to manage it without seeming all stalkerish.
But i was here first, and she knew that

If she knows who you are she'll probably be able to see this post from you so there is no need to play dumb.

Hopefully you've beaten the bushes well enough with this topic for her to come out in real life, =).

Is there a problem with you both being here? Is she sticking to a group that you can avoid? Is she pg & not wanting to announces it & feels safe talking in here...& if that's the case I would leave her news & her alone.
I know someone on here but choose not to say anything, I have not seen her for awhile & she sticks to threads I don't go in. I don't see the need to say "hi its me" I don't read or go looking for her posts.
As for talking IRL that's up to her & if she is a friend then she will talk to you if & when she wants.
Maybe you should come out & tell her as she may want to go somewhere else where she is not recognised.

I got sprung recently by an old school friend (waves ). It doesn't bother me - this is her place as much as it's mine - and neither of us intend to out the other IRL cos that would ruin this for both of us.
I think it's nice if you figure out you know someone to say so, just so they know. Just send her a PM. It's not a big deal as far as I can see.

Sorry, but what a weird thread! Why can't you both be here? I was introduced to this site by a real life friend, and it's never been a problem.
And also, if she knows who you are, isn't this whole thread going to seem really weird to her?

were both waiting to TTC, she doesn't post in general and isnt on here often.
I think i'll go with the ignore it in real life until she brings it up.
was just some of her posts mentioned briefly that she wished she had someone to talk to other than her DH.

Well if she knows you and sees you're in the TTC threads too, she'll talk to you if she wishes.
