We have a Merino Kids Gogo bag that DD uses all the time so it hardly ever gets washed After this hot weather we have had I have found the neck line is quite stained (with sweat?) and would like to know of any tips or tricks to clean it? I have it in the machine now on a wool wash with soap nuts to see how that goes, but I think I might need to put some elbow grease into it. Any ideas?

I scrubbed mine gently using a nail brush or soft tooth brush and some liquid wool wash.
I've also used a baking soda paste to get smells out in a similar way. Good for the stale milk smell.

We have had a few stains on ours too - I wash it first thing in the morning with a wool wash liquid (can't remember the brand off the top of my head) and then put it in the sunshine for the day. By the end of the day it is dry & the stains have gone. Sunshine can do wonderful things!

Ive always used wool wash to wash ours and on stains I use good ol wonder soap, we have had the odd leaky nappy to clean up after and the wonder soap on the stains and then wool wash has done no harm at all.

We get stains around the neck too - only, we're down south, so it's not sweat!! I think ours is dribble. I've "improved" the stain with various types of washing (sard/wool wash/ other stain removers/ sun sun sun) but never been able to get it out completely, which is annoying. If you find something that works, let me know!!

Thanks for the tips! Just washing it has helped a lot already, though could still use some elbow grease. I think I'll try a soft brush and some wool wash or gentle shampoo, fingers crossed it works!
