BD on the day you ov as well as the day after. This is what we did when we conceived Ben (and quite of BDing before ov but it was the later Bding that did the trick).
I wasn't really monitoring things when we were TTC with Jack but I am sure that is what we did then.
We are the opposite, TTC a girl now. Good luck!

Good luck! I'm like you, wanted a boy this time. The Shettles Method for conceiving a boy is to BD ("baby dance" if you're not up with the lingo on here yet ) day before, day of and day after ov. We BD just the day before ovulation and the day before that. Couldn't be bothered for the next few days LOL but got pregnant and it's a boy
We had lots of sex the cycle DD was conceived and well she's a girl hehe, so wouldn't listen to your dad on that one either
ETA my friend has 3 boys - the first one they weren't TTC (on the pill), but the next two they BD every 2nd day and got boys both times (they weren't trying for a particular gender, it just worked out that way).

I BD after what I thought was ov and have a girl this time would love a little boy so I have one of each but would be just as happy for another girl as long as they are healthy. Going to try the Shettles method there are a few books you can also get which go in to details about what food to eat, and BD positions apparently that also makes.
