I know not too many people have much feedback when it comes to this topic but this is also me venting!.

I had my implanon removed July 2010 and have been TTC since then, before having it in (for approx 15months) my cycles were 29 days, now its jumped to 45 in the last couple of months after being all over the place.

Usual AF symptoms have changed too, my last cycle didn't show any which is unusual as I at least go by breast changes to know

I had gone and seen my doctor the first time it was a week past when it should have been and she said to wait a month if it didn't arrive to go back but it turned up a week later. I'm guessing I could do ovulation tests but at the moment I don't want to be reminded everyday like I have been for the last approx 8 mnths that nothing is working!

I'm guessing fellow implanon users can't explain why its so all over the place (my doctor is seriously useless!) but wondering if there are others that have had similar problems. I am planning on waiting till this AF arrives and then getting depo provera.

I will never ever EVER get implanon again!

I had issues with on the Implanon with constant bleeding so after 6 months I had it removed and then went to a normalish 26 - 34 day cycle. I love the idea around the Implanon and really wish it had worked for me, but anyways, they work differently on everyone I guess.

Have you tried vitex or B6 to try and help with getting your cycle on track?

Yeah I had a bad reaction with insertion (had been on the depo previous for 6yrs and was fine) but yeah definitely not something I want to go through again. I loved the idea but at least my body returned to normal after 6yrs (one year and 6mnths fell pregnant) versus 15mnths when I was on the implanon :)

No have not tried anything yet, was planning on going to see a different doctor once my AF arrives to discuss options then, which would be tomorrow (doubt it) so probably in the next couple of weeks. Just frustrating as its expensive here in AU to go to the doc time and time again only to realise last visit my doctor is, well, not that good for what I need.

Thanks for sharing your info and I will keep in mind the names of those things you listed :)
