I recently had some mould at the back of my draws in the bedroom, once i found it i removed it off, cleaned it with White vinegar and also wiped bleach on the draws to try keep mould off and take the musty smell away, The draws are wooden but now all i can smell when i walk into our room is the musty smell from the draws, does anyone know how i can get rid of the smell, i have that nil odour stuff for the carpet that i used to try take the smell away but it didnt seem to work

You could try putting a small dish of baking soda or vanilla essence in the drawers for a few days. Both are pretty good at neutralising smells. Good luck!

I'm sure peppermint essential oil works as both a mould inhibiter (sp?) and would help with the smell as well.

Otherwise can you get them out into some bright sunshine for a few hours?

Clover- I wiped them down with bleach and white vinegar and sat them in the sun, they were good for about a week, but then it came back, might have to give the peppermint essential oil a go and see what happens
