Fleur, PM me your email address as I had a little chart of things I could do with Jackson when he was about this age.

I am ashamed to say I don't do half of them with Ollie, but I guess that was the beauty of Jackson having my utterly undivided attention!

thanks its more for me than Catherine as she doesn't care what I do as long as I play with her, I'm trying to be more creative so I don't get bored

Also, do you get the developmental emails from Babycentre? They have great games ideas each time they email (which is weekly at this age).

This is what I was going to suggest!

But then, I don't really play games with DS I sing lots of songs, bounce him around, let him look at stuff. Yesterday he was laughing hysterically because I kept whipping my head around, and my hair was flying everywhere! So he seems to be amused anyway.

I didn't really play much games until she was sitting, before that I would just play on her play gym with her (she had a musical one so I'd try and 'teach' her how to make it go!), or I'd read stories and put on voices (she loved this!), sing songs... Hmm... Doesn't seem like much now when I think back but at the time she was only up for about an hour until she was about 4.5 months old...

I signed up to the Babycentre.com.au emails each month which gave me new ideas of games to play,

We also went to Wiggle & Rhyme which was free at the library - got some great ideas there and inspired me to play with DS more!

Was just going to say nursery rhymes too.

And also looking into seeing what local baby classes there are that are near by that you could attend, it's a great way to get out and meet other mums + learn some things to do with your baby!

I just rattled toys for them, put them in front of a mirror and we'd pull faces lol, I would dance round the room with them, play peek a boo, stuff like that.
