This may seem like a stupid/weird question but for those that use slings during the day what do you do with your nappy bag when go out?
DS generally doesnt like pram but does like being in the front pack so I use that often but I dont use if I think I will need something (like clean nappy or burp cloth) from the nappy bag as I dont know what to do with the bag as I imagine it would be awkward with DS in a front pack or sling and carrying a nappy bag. So what do you do?

It is a PITA. I have a large handbag and put everything in there that I might need. At least then I only need one bag rather than 2.

I use a back pack that way it stays on my back and bubs on my front. Now that he is back carried I wear the pack on my front. Must look really stupid.

I have a small leather bag that I use when I'm out and babywearing - just shove it over my shoulder.

If its a short trip I'll stuff what I can in my handbag, otherwise I'll pop DS on my front and backpack on my back. It is a PITA though, someone should invent something more practical for us babywearers.

Sometimes I use my nappy shoulder bag but now have started using a small backpack (baby on the front), which is heaps easier.

Manduca's do a pouch which can attach to the carrier or on a strap..

I usually take my over the shoulder bag. Or else if I'm not going out alone my buddy takes a nappy/wipes/my wallet
If I'm quickly popping in somewhere for just one thing I only take my card and phone and slip it in the pocket on the front of the Manduca.

That's why I got an ergo...pocket in the front is big enough for a nappy, wipes, hat, my wallet and keys :-) ...haven't tried more than that yet!!

Large handbag here too!

Would love a backpack though!

I tend to always over-pack, always been a 'just in case' kinda person lol!

Usually I just leave the bag in the van while I'm shopping. If I was visiting a friend's house I would take the bag and not the sling.

I agree that is one down side to baby wearing. And I'm sorry but I refuse to wear a backpack!
I will carry my big nappy bag on shoulder. Its a bit awkward, but oh well. Also, once baby is older, I find I don't need to take as much stuff. Ie can usually work it so I won't need to do a nappy change.

Backpack here, though I invested in a nanna trolley for when we walk to the library or markets and I know I'm going to be hauling a heavy load.

Ergo used to do a backpack thing that clipped onto the shoulder straps, I'm sure one could modify their existing backpack with some clips to attach to the straps of an SSC or mei tai?

Ergo here too and I just downsize what I take with me. Or I have bub in the carrier and toddler in the pram so put stuff in the pram basket.
