An update from Simone -
"I have been asked to pass on a message to those who so kindly offered breastmilk. A full supply of breastmilk has been found. A heartfelt thank you to all those who offered. The community of support, and the love and kindness shown has been overwhelming. Let everyone know that this baby is being loved and drinking breastmilk, thank you again".

This is heartbreaking

It was lovely to see though, how many women were willing to help (with b/milk and in other ways). I'm glad they found someone who could help them.

It is fantastic to hear they managed to source enough breastmilk for the poor wee thing.

I can only imagine how devastating something like this must be.

I found an article about this http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/4583955/Web-plea-for-breastmilk-answered - here .

Yea, so sad... I can't imagine the idea of leaving DH to look after Jacob. He'd do an excellent job, but imagine looking after a new baby when you were grieving your wife (or husband, for that matter).
