Does anyone here have a washing machine from The Warehouse? We bought one over the sales when it was really cheap as we needed a new one but I am getting so frustrated with it! The water comes in really really slow and I am wondering if it is the machine or my crap water supply so does anyone who has one or knows of anyone with them have the same problem?

have you checked your inlet hoses don't have kinks in them?
a kink in it will slow down water flow (like it does when you kink the hose when watering the garden)

yeah I have been keeping an eye on that. I have pulled the machine right out so it is dead straight and all sorts of different things. I am pretty sure it is to do with the hose possible the filter but not sure I should remove it.

i have a telman, if thats the one your talking about.......water is fine coming in but i hate the washing machine, I have to put on a gentle wash every time otherwise it completely tangles all the clothes together ruining them and breaks all my underwires even in a delicates bag.......Ive had it checked and it works fine..........but i hate it!!!!! often clothes that are extra dirty wont get clean cos im having to put on a shorter gentle wash so end up having to wash twice.......all my shoe string singlets etc have to be put into laundry bags or the straps get wrapped around and around the other clothes.........
sorry that didnt answer your question

I had the one that has no agitator, and a clear lid and I hated it! Would pile all the washing on one side during the wash cycle, then pack a wobbly cos it was unbalanced so I'd have to pull out the wet washing, rearrange it around the bottom, then continue the cycle, plus it stretched my clothes in every which way! then exactly a year after buying it (JUST past the 12 month warranty) the motor suddenly stopped working, so the machine was utterly useless, noone could fix it as its an import, and they dont import parts for repairs! We ended up getting a 2nd hand remodelled F&P (from a local trader who pulls lots of machines apart and swaps parts around to make them work again) and its lasted us 3 years and still going strong!

Babykatnz - sounds like you found a good place to get your machine, if you ever have any issues, he should be able to help you fix it :)

I hear ya on the everything getting tangled together. I hadn't even thought about the impact that would have on the clothes I wonder if all non-agitator ones are like that. Anyway thanks for the replies I still haven't fiddled with it I just turn it on to wash early early morning so I don't even think about it anymore not sure how long it'll last though

We've got an LG with no central agitator but it doesn't tangle all the clothes. I love it (as much as one can love a washing machine I guess )

lol Clover! They do save us a lot of effort. I wouldn't want to be back in the old days when everything was washed by hand.
I am trying the hose from old washing machine at the mo not sure it will make a difference although the filter is on the other end of the hose so maybe that's what the problem is the filter stops the water from coming in at the proper rate who knows...
