Soooo many sleep issues with DS 11 months, but we were getting on top of them until the ear infection. Nights have been horrendous, but I am hoping the anti-biotics will kick in soon. His day sleeps are fine, he goes to bed no worries.

However, night times there is screaming and he is soooo upset, before we even put him in his cot. I *THINK* he has developed a bit of a phobia because he has been in pain so much while in bed at night?

Just wondering if anyone else has had this and what did you do to make bedtime "nicer" and a place he wants to be

His routine is to have boob/bottle, a story and then I sing him a lullaby in his room.

Have you got a portacot? If so, maybe try putting him down in that in a different room and see if that makes any difference?
I dont know if that would work for you but its just an idea...my DD often settled better in the portacot in our bedroom, so we put her there to sleep until she got over the bad patch.

It seems like you have tried most things so I cant reallllyyy think of anything else to suggest...other than..maybe try wrapping him or putting the top you have been wearing where his head would go, or let him sleep on your pillow(in his cot) Ive used a little flatish pillow for my kids from about 11 months and its fine.

We are still struggling with this too. No solutions yet, but keen to hear others' experiences
