Just wondering what stuff other mums are using on their babies in the bath and/or after the bath? I was given a few different products - Curash, Johnson&Johnson, Body Shop, Gaia and Mahu - but have only been using water to wash bubs. In the last few days I've noticed a wee bit of dry skin (on his back and a bit on his forehead) and wonder if it's time to start using something either in the bath or afterwards to help combat this.
I'm also keen to hear of any homemade options. |

I just used baby shampoo to wash DS when he was younger and used Gaia moisturiser which I have only just run out of. Now I like to use Curash bath wash and Almond oil for a moisturiser. | We just use water and i use ecostore shampoo like once a fortnight maybe. Johnsons soothing naturals have a really good moisturiser for dry skin that I used to get rid of Daniels |

I still only use water with a bit of sweet almond oil, not really a fan of many of the products on the market. And with any bits of dry skin/eczema just use aqueous cream. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

| We use the same as "Red", just some almond oil, and occasionally a drop of lavender oil. We have a lot of free samples of baby bath products, but they list so many chemicals, even the so called natural ones. |

I only used water in the bath until DS was about 3-4months old and developed eczema, I now use aqueous cream in the bath and all over him after the bath. It is fantastic stuff and DS has the most beautiful skin now, people often comment on it.
I often read the back of products, but there are always so many ingredients with terrible names so I have never bought anything yet. I try to be as natural as possible with him. -------------

I massage weleda baby oil into DD before I pop her into the bath and I only use water.

Aqueous cream here for dry skin... almond oil for the scalp about an hour before bath time...

We use aqueous cream as a soap substitute in the bath, and then afterwards usually fatty cream to moisturise - DD also suffers from excema, and we found any of the other soaps/bath washes aggravated her skin. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

Just water here too with the occasional massage after bath time with Weleda Baby Calendula oil if his skin is particularly dry.
