Just wondering what food says Christmas to you?

I think of brandy snaps, ambrosia, pav, cherries, all the sweet things!

OOh yea xmas ham and pavlova are biggies for us, and with my dads side its roast lamb (and ham too lol) and scorched almonds!

Trifle. I am so excited to have trifle this year for Xmas dinner and Boxing Day breaky (couldn't last year as I was pregnant). I love it so much I got Mum to make it for me for Mothers Day this year. YUM!!!

Ditto on the ham! And I can eat it this year, last year was hard work not being able to.

I love brandy snaps as well, made them for my brother and his girlfriend when they came over last night, and you don't want to know how many I ate in the process...

litle red just make sure your ham is hot then you can eat it!

for me its trifle! and pork crackling... mmmmm Trifle just isnt the same though when mum doesnt make it. My sister has taken over the trifle making and is sill working on making it great!

Thanks Bizzy, the problem is we are going out to a restaurant for a Christmas Buffet lunch! Maybe I could be cheeky and ask them to heat it up for me??

oh i would definitely... or ask for some to be freshly sliced for you. I remember quizzing a restaurant once about food when i was newly pregnant.

Ham, xmas mince pies (Mum and I normally go thru alot!) Dad's Xmas pudding, and my cousins baking - he has baked all sorts of different things every year, gutted that I'll be missing out this year oh and pavlova

ooh I forgot about cherries! yummm eat them by the box load haha, and can't forget the brandy snaps! with heaps of whipped cream I have my mums xmas late lunch tomorrow, i may have to stop eating now so I can fit it all in haha

DH's ham (hot) mmm...Apricot & Brandy xmas tarts with loads of thickened cream mmm.

DH's home made bagels with cream cheese & smoked salmon, bubbles & chocolate (stolen from the kids) for breakfast....
