I'm posting this in here in the hope that we might get a few more nibbles than we do in the meetup section....
Bex (Lexiesmumma) is going to be in town on 4/5 Jan, so we were wondering if anyone is interested in a meetup on maybe the 5th, possibly at the zoo??? Would be awesome to get to meet some more of you, and I'm excited cos I FINALLY get to meet Bex hehehehe |

Darn, gonna be in NP in Feb boo coz would have liked to have met some OB people.
What about Zanziba out at Fitzroy/Strandon, not super child friendly but has couches and is not hustle bustle there. -------------

Hmm, Zanzibar is nice but might be a touch small coz even with just Kate, Bex & me theres 4adults and 4kids ...... Hmmm Gloria Jeans is small too BUT it has a playpen? Esquires? Maccas is good coz there's playground and coffee and hotchips for the baby lol If I had my own place I'd totally host but I live with my parents lol |

As for a wet weather alternative- well we don't need one because it's going to be fine because I said so. McD's is probably best bet though- chipmunks is expensive, can't think of anywhere else?! I love their coffee anyways, =). I didn't even know Zanzi's was still there?! I need to go cafe-hopping more! |

There's a Gloria Jeans?!? Man I don't remember that there. Maybe Zanzibars is gone was there in April....
Maccas is always good, we actually rely on Mcafe a lot when venturing out over here since often the coffee is so bad at other places lol. -------------

Gloria Jeans is by the post shop, in that block of shops with flight centre, asian nail salon & dodgy looking tattoo shop lol it's been there awhile, I went there for coffee the day I got my BFP lol Kate how does Zoo/Maccas sound to you? And bex? Should we FB others incase they don't see this? |

Yay, now just nobody get sick! Make sure you guys still put the details up on here, I'm not on facebook. Brooklands zoo is only little but it's pretty well set up with a playground in the centre, it's part of a bigger park with walkways etc so definitely things for your df/DH to do, =).

Trudz FB'ed me I'm in. Zoo sounds awesome, the girls LOVE it there, and adore McD's (and rarely get to go!) so either way is good, tho I'll be hoping for fine weather.

| We were pretty busy tictac - Boxing Day it slowed down pretty quick in the afternoon, but we did huge sales. I got annoyed cos people were on a go slow and wouldn't move so team members could actually get through the shop, or they would get annoyed at something and take it out on us. Christmas Eve wasn't toooooo bad, it's always worst around lunchtime though. |

| I'd come into town intending to go to that meet-up but then checked on my ph that it wasn't happening, so I had coffee & went shopping, =). I tend to go WH later in the day, easier with the kids, so that's prob why it seemed not too bad! People can be so rude though, I agree, I got abused so many times working at petrol station over the price of petrol. & grumpy old ladies using trolleys as weapons, Grr. So what time are we meeting on 6th? Kids are itching to see the new meerkats, =). |

| It is very sneaky! Ds has had it twice, his 2nd time they all got it, all absolutely covered, so weird they even got fevers at all this time. Ah the good ole chickhen pox - when R was about 2 his caregiver's kids all had it - then another caregiver came to visit and all her kids got it - I think in all 9 people/kids got it - BUT did R NO!! I really wanted them out of the way =- so if your kids are carrying the bug its fine with me if you still come (and besides I think R knows your 5 year old Tictac as has she just left kindy not long ago? - whats her name?) ------------- http://lilypie.com">

My sisters partner worked on the meerkat enclosure! Apparently it was supposed to be a surprise, but we've been lucky enough to know for a wee while that it was meerkats. Can't wait to see them though! Who's bringing their DF's/DH's?

I'm reeeaaally hoping I'll be better in time..I can't believe I'm sick NOW!! Grrr I'm on antibiotics so FXd they've done the trick by Thursday..I'm not contageous or anything, just feel like I've been run over 
My parents took T to the Zoo yesterday to let me have a rest and he LOVED it apparently. There was a train going around the bowl too or something which he liked. It was packed as at the zoo they said but it was a Sunday and after lunch lol |

| Sundays typically are quite busy, public holidays busier still & by thurs most people will be back at work as well, so it shouldn't be too bad, fx'd. I have my order in for a slightly cloudy yet fine day with a gentle refreshing breeze, =). And for it to not be too busy. And for my kids to not do anything too embarrassing. We're going through a public nudity phase with dd2y, =(. |

Was a bit of rain this morning here at like 930 but that was it and now the suns trying to come out. I'll check in in the morning to see weather we're zoo'ing or maccas'ing it. PS. Oh that will be some lovely time out for you too with just one wee one! Am so pleased Mum is coming to wrangle Ivy and Lauren - I seem to have a touch of insomnia which is really very frustrating (and exhausting!!!) - so it will be nice to just sit and chat with Natalie on my lap
