So when its just me and DD I love to play the All American Rejects (their first album) although its cheesy it always manages to cheer me up, get me dancing and singing along!

Definitely Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morrisette (LateStarterLorner - my kindred spirit!). She was my first concert, loved it.

Like Steps, S Club 7, Spice Girls, early Britney/Christina, Las Ketchup, 5ive etc etc... So ashamed to admit it, but there is nothing better then a singalong to cheesy pop. |

haha, same as Bowie as well, nothing like singing "yo i'll tell you what I want what I really really want! " in the car with your 8 year old yelling along with you,windows down not giving a rats ass who sees you....thats my definition of happiness
And for angry music, Pink's song "so what " and Alanis's "You outta know" ...especially that one Oh and also a happy song for me, the Friends theme song haha -------------

Ahh the 90's it was almost as tacky at as the 80's... I am another cheesy pop fan (in secret). Was just saying to DH last night, Sting is like the cool version of Phil Collins... both right awesome tunes but would you readily admit to friends and foe that you liked Phil Collins (well I actually would LOL).
Beegees get my toes tapping, Abba, Sting/Police, Phil Collins, 5ive, Backstreet, Britney, Christina, Spice Girls to name a few but probably the most shameful... Dolly Parton chuck in Kenny Rogers for a christmas duet and I am in the christmas mood on even the worst of days!

Dolly and Kenny did a christmas special in 1984 and my dad vhs'd it and my sister and I watched it non stop all december every year when ever we were allowed so its the epitome of christmas to me... imagine my delight last year when I found the cd at bunnings!!!!! Poor DH, not a country fan LOL -------------

Secret happy music? at the moment Cee-Lo "F** you" except I have to listen to the edited radio friendly version cause Jake loves it too. But also love the High School Musical Soundtrack, but will kill anyone who mentions it again. |

Oh gosh, when i was teaching intermediate aged kids they were all about high school musical so i brought the CD for teaching purposes and totally love to drive along belting out the hits. Speaking of which i own the first two Glee CDs for the same purpose.
I LOVE to sing when i'm alone in the car. Shame. |

Kelly , when you used to babysit me... you were the first one that introduced me to The Spice Girls on cassett......i remember it so clearly!!!
