not at all! We always leave Xmas shopping till the last minute - not intentionally, we are just slack and put it off........

We have most of DD's presents sorted, just have to get a few more. Were going to get pressies for all DF's family back in Ireland but doubt anything will get to them in time now so will just get something small for his Mum and Dad. Would cost too much to send stuff to all his sisters, neices and nephews anyway.
And haven't bought anything for my family yet, and there are 8 we need to buy for! So should probably get our A into G lol
Food wise, Mum does most of it, we are normally just in charge of doing some little platters etc which is easy peasy, will do that Xmas eve.

2 of my kids rang Santa today to leave him a message of what they wanted...they both only asked for 1 thing & not what we have them so will get it also.

We have decided not to send stuff to family now. The only ones we will buy for are the kids we see & MIL & FIL otherwise it gets to expensive.

Noooooo! Really not ready at all. Still have to buy for EVERYONE, I tried to get the family to all agree to do no presents this year & just use the money we would have spent to have a nice christmas together instead but had no takers. Maybe if I buy completely inappropriate $2 Shop gifts (e.g ugly fridge magnets & last years calendars) for everyone instead of almost bankrupting ourselves buying them what they ask for they'll agree to no presents next year??

LOL no way not even close.

my oldest son is hard to buy for as he is a bit different. things like thomas and bob the builder etc that most boys would love, he has never been into anything like that, he likes to watch some of them but he usually has a fav part on a dvd and will constantly skip to that part and play it over and over. much to ds2's disliking.

ds2 and ds3 are easy its just i left xmas shopping a bit late lol.

ds4 is only 11mths, and iv learnt my lesson there, that 1yr olds dont care lol. so iv got him something simple that iv been wanting to get for his room for ages.

all the other kids i buy for has been easy. the adults however, i never know what to get.

My entire family is all in australia (im an aussie who moved to nz for love!) and they know things are a bit strained for us now with baby on the way so we didn't need to worry about them and hubby and i bought our first house this year so we aren't buying for each other and the rest of his family isn't very christmasie apart from his brother who has 2 kids so not much pressure! Having xmas lunch at the MIL house and thats about it!! quiet christmas before baby comes

This is the first year ive been organised and finished my shopping start of november, makes this last month very long when normally I'd be rushing around shopping. We also only have to buy for one couple on each side this year (managed to convince both familys it was easier and cheaper), so that makes things easier. Have fun shopping for the next few days

I'm just waiting for the last of the stuff I've bought online to arrive but apart from that I'm done with the presents.

Will buy all the food next week otherwise it will all end up being eaten if everyone around here knows its sitting in the cupboard!

DH has just got Thursday & Friday off, yay so he can help out. We have a few last minute things to get so will do that Thursday nice & early & then do the food shopping...anything else we need will do early on Friday.

1 of my SIL is sending a gift voucher for the kids so I can chose what to get.

I don't know what it is but I love the mad last minute xmas shop rush...& even if I had finished it long ago I think I would still do it.
