Hi,
I ordered christmas cards (10cmx20cm) from the last mag that entitled you to a free set of cards.
I got them today and they are actually just a photo. Is this correct or did they make a mistake?
I assumed they would be a card that you open and can write a message on rather than just a photo?
Can you please share if yours were the same or an "actual" card.
thanks
p.s it's not that I'm ungrateful. In fact I do think they're cute but I wouldn't want to actually pay for them unless they were actually cards. I guess I can cut some card and glue them onto that. :-)

Yep, snapfish photocards are photos, not cards. I found out the hard way when I bought some after DS was born. Kinda misleading eh?

Thanks, yeah I think it is actually a bit misleading on the website because it's not really a card at all unless they maybe named them postcards which would make more sense.

I have not done mine yet.....I thought it was a card but after reading this have just looking on their site & the cheap ones look like postcards. That is really disappointing as I wanted proper cards...really glad I have not ordered mine as I was going to get extra.
Pity they did not splash out & offer the real card ones to the readers...

Im sorry, but they are FREE! Sure they are not proper cards and a better explanation of them might have been better on snapfish but at least OHbaby offered something, not many magazines do!

I know the cards are FREE...is postage FREE??? as I said I was going to order more so I would of been really disappointed if I had & got postcard ones after paying $20.
Yes better information would of stopped others being disappointed also...

You pay for postage which I think was about $3.95.
I still think they're very cute so worth getting. I'm just going to put onto card.
I put it all on my credit card and then I emailed them that my credit didn't come off and they emailed back the next day and put the credit back on my visa.
Simple

I just got mine out of the mailbox and I'm pretty disappointed too. Like all of you I expected CARDS, so I could write something on the back.
Don't get me wrong, the front looks great, but I though this year finally I would not have to cut card and glue photos on, and now it turns out I still have to do so .
It's very annoying and they should have put that in the fine print, so you know exactly what you are ordering.

I spent all day yesterday pasting them onto black paper and writing the "christmas" message inside.
Now I just need to write the names and a personalised message.
My husband thought I was crazy making extra work for myself. He said I should have just written on the back but I think that would have looked cheap with the digital printing already on the back from snapfish.
They do look good now and I'm sure we'll get lots of nice comments so it will be worth it in the end

They have 40% off calendars & free postage for orders over $10....so it is cheaper to get 19c prints & stick them on card & write Merry Xmas
I would of done the FREE cards if I had not of had problems at checkout & glad I did not now as I don't want to pay postage on the FREE cards & end up disappointed...so will do the calendar & prints now.
