I ended up talking to a guy a work today who's 2yr was just hospitalised with rotavirus.
I heard there was a vaccine, but I'm wondering if my boy (15mths) is too old for it.
The web sites I've seen say they give 3 doses, 2mths, 4mths & 6mths. None of them said about older babies.

Anyone get it later than that? Or know if he still can?

Have a chat to your GP about it. We had our wee boy vacinated (for a number of reasons - and on the recomendation of our paediatrician) and he has (touchwood) never had a serious tummy bug.

Sorry I dont know whether or not you can get it later - but def worth asking!

There is insufficient safety data available for giving the vaccine in older babies/toddlers...thus why they are given at those ages and unavailable to older infants/toddlers/children.
