just in case anybody missed the news - these have been recalled and are dangerous. They have caused at least three house fires... the company is in liquidation now and chances are you wont get your money back but you cant put a price on safety.

you hang your washing on them & plug it in to dry...was going to get one but DH was not keen ...so glad we didn't now..

LOL I put them in the same box as heated towel rails - waste of power when the wind can dry them out in half the time for free!

Just the dry bars brand and yes if you got yours from mitre 10 or bunnings you can get your money back. If not then they recommend you unplug and cut the head off. Sounds drastic but it was on fair go so maybe their website can help.

yeah sorry should have said... there was a partial recall, some models have a manufacturing flaw and need to be returned. Fair go however suggested they are all dangerous and should not be used, unless as an expensive airer after cutting off the cord.

I dunno mamapickle, there's just something about grabbing a nice warm towel off that towel rail when its freezing cold in the morning!
