I know someone posted this before but i have some other questions 
DS now has Excema, it's not bad at all..YET..But we tried the Hydrocortisone cream and it dosnt seem to be really working that good, it does work, but not great, we also are using this healthy fatty cream as a moisturizer but that dosnt seem to be doing heaps either, we went back to the doctor but he gave us some cream called " Pimafucort" But it has alot of steroids in it which i dont like to use on him.. What else could i try that would help clear it up, im not sure why he has got this as neither me or DP had this, He's only got it on his Chin, lower cheeks and maybe on his tummy abit, it looks like it might be there aswell.. Also how can i try and keep it away, i know there is no real cure for this so the Doctor told me but does anyone have any tips ? ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Alphakeri may help. You can get as a wash, moisturiser and oil. Personally I use the moisturiser for my excezma as seems to help. Its recommended for childrens skin and I know my mum used it on me when I was young, and she uses the oil a lot, especially in a bath and it helps. DS has a rash on his chin and neck and a bit on his cheeks and we've stopped using anything except water in the bath and aqueous cream afterwards and it seems less red and like it's clearing up. ------------- http://alterna-tickers.com">

My MIL told me about "Moogoo". Her friend who has twins got REALLY bad excema to the point that one of them went to hospital (??) They used moogoo and neither of them have ever had it again.... I'm planning to buy it and use it on my daughter because she REALLY flares up during the humid summer. At the moment I am just using Aveeno baby moisturiser (because it never flared up during the winter),last summer I had a big yellow tube of something and a fatty cream and aqueous cream but nothing really worked...basically just stopped flaring up once it started getting cooler.

I find the Aveeno baby moisturiser really good too. It's the only cream that helps prevent the flare ups and gets rid of dry patches.
We use nothing in the bath except pinetarsol if she's itchy or baking soda. On her face as she gets it on her chin and neck I use bee balm in between hydro-cortisone as this seems to calm it. There are heaps of different creams you can try some work some don't but it honestly depends on you. Some other ones I have tries are xma ease and aqueous both help but not as much as the Aveeno does for us. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

You can get a probiotic called Eczema shield which a lot of naturopaths recommend, and it has seemed to keep my 6 mo eczema on the down low, that is combined with steriods and fatty cream,
I have tried soooooo many different creams and while the natural ones gave some results, this works the best for us; we bath him in pinetarsol most nights then put 1% hydrocort on the affected parts of his face and Locoid on his body, and moisturise with fatty cream twice a day and when he feels dry. I use tui bee balm on his head because it gets so itchy and the fatty cream is so greasy, and that seems to work. I hate using so many steriods, but I also hate the screaming from an itchy baby in the middle of the night 
I found with my eldest who got rashes when he was young that aveeno baby soothing relief moisturiser cleared it up really well. Weleda eczema comp cream works ok as well. The trick is finding something that works for you. The lady at the health shop recommend sulfur soap Which got into his open sores and stung like crazy, so I don't recommend that. ------------- http://www.alterna-tickers.com">

Try and find out the cause of the ezcema. It could be a food allergy that triggers it. A skin test could find out what causes it. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
