My dd has had it since 3 months but never seems bothered by it but I'm not sure if it's itchy for her or not, I get it on my arms and it is usually itchy for a little bit but then I must forget about it

I had this weird red patch on my chest a while back. It didn't itch or anything, so I didn't think it was eczema. (I've had eczema before and it usually does itch for me!) Went to the doctor and he told me it WAS, and gave me some steroid cream, which I used. It went away quickly then, so he must have been right.

According to http://dermnetnz.org/dermatitis/atopic-causes.html - this site , lots of things, including just a common cold or flu, can cause a flare in eczema, so maybe that's what it is?

Hope your boy is okay now!

DS gets ezcema, it is currently all over his body, patches of it are obviously itchy as he scratches, but most of it isn't. It seems that only recently its got itchy too as he'd never scratched at it before.
