uurgghh... I am in such a bad mood.
I bought a Dash about 2 months ago as I am expecting number 2 in September. However, today was only the 3rd time I have used it as each time has been a horriable experience. I think I put it down to the front 'swivel' wheel. When I am walking straight, it tries to turn me or vear me left and I have to use all my strenght to keep it straight. When I try to turn a corner...it simply won't turn. Basically, it is easier for me to tilt the buggy up and just walk it on the two back wheels.
Has anyone else had problems with their dash, does it maybe take time for it to 'wear in'?? My back and arms are killing me....and I was only walking with it for 15minutes.
I am kicking myself for buying it, really wishing I went for another MB...which ROCK by the way.

Take the front wheel off, put some vaseline on the metal shaft and put it back in..... sometimes the come ungreased and putting some vase on it works a treat
I had the same thing and mine has been fine ever since
If it doesnt work then you have somehow ended up with one of the earlier models and its a fault and you will need to contact who your purchased it off to organise the necessary part to fix it

Those front wheels can lock into place Kate, have you checked to make sure its in swivel mode correctly?
Also what melnel said, stick some oil or vaseline on it and see if that hekps, if that doesnt work then ring them up and complain

Yes, it is on swivel. I have no idea how to take the wheel off.....care to share? I am so dissapointed, a buggy should be ready to go. I have never needed to 'maintain' my MB.

You would have eventually hun, like a bike or car, working parts need maitenance from time to time...
I cant remember off the top of my head but when I go out to the car next I will have a look, I think you pull the thing that makes it swivel/lock all the way out as far as it goes and the just pull the wheel off....

Yes, but when spending a large sum of money on a buggy, you'ld expect it to work with ease straight away.
Good news though...I played with the wheel. a bit, spinning it round etc when I was trying to work out how to take it off. And went for a quick walk with it....and it was a lot better. It still didnt turn at all corners with ease, but was a lot better. DF is away at the moment, I will get him to get the wheel off once he is back and add some sort of lube/oil stuff.
Cheers for the help peeps.

We have a P & T Dash and it was impossible to steer. We contacted P & T and they sent us a brass washer for the front wheel.
With the washer and a bit of grease it is a totally different pram. No problems at all and am really happy with it now.

I think it's the same as the sport and should have something you pull out under the foot rest or push in to lock.
