I lost 100 grams this week. I always miss sending my results in on time and my name never gets a mention - what time are we supposed to get the results to whoever.

if you cant get on OB very often make you weight week go from monday to monday. then you have 2 days to get the results to her :) i was weighing on mondays before the comp started so i just pm her then and it gets tallied once everyone elses results are in on a wednesday. you can join at any time, you are just at a disadvantage when it comes to the very end and its total % lost over the whole thing

Congrats all you ladies for losing weight!
How on earth do you lose over a kg in a week? (I'm assuming it's in kg's?) This is a serious question, I want to lose that!!

I lost 2kg in the first week....mainly by dropping the sugar that I was feeding myself on (especially Coke). It makes a massive difference, quickly.

I go for 6k walks about 4-5 times a week & would go every night if DH is home in time. I walk the kids too & from school a few days a week also.
I have cut out diet coke & any fizz & have cut down on tea. I drink water & if hungry I have a glass of water first. I have 1 slice of toast for b/fast & a salad & maybe an omelette for lunch & a salad or veg with dinner. I don't eat junk or if I did it is a couple of chips & not a bag & I have stopped picking of the kids plate & make myself something instead.
I have found the less I eat the less I want to eat & don't have to finish everything on my plate & I have cut down my plate size. I have also cut down bread & feel heaps better for it.
Once you start losing weight you want to keep at it & I know some weeks the loss will be smaller but it all adds up

the results are also in percentages not kg's. make it more fair on the smaller ppl who dont have as much to lose. im losing over a kg a week at the mo and thats all i want to lose otherwise i go too hard out and 'fall off the wagon' im trying to make it acheivable. ive had heart problems recently so my exercise is really crap but i just cut out all drink except water and 2 milo's a day to take away the wanting sweet food. toast for bfast, ham, chesse rolls with salad at lunch and meat and veg for tea plus a mueli bar for a snack and fruit if im still hungry. its amazing how quickly a teeny snack here and there or picking at the kids food or drinking too much tea and not enough water the weight adds on, or rather, doesnt come off. small changes for the win :)
