I am going away unexpectedly for 3 nights (min) and need a portacot for my 4.5mo dd.
Recommend me yours? And also how much did you pay?
I've seen most are about $200.

Yeah it is pretty much. Except the P&T has poles, Kinderkot doesnt, and the base isnt supposed to touch the ground, but would once baby is in it.
I hope you get it sorted by then

We have the kingston from baby factory - the one with a bassinet attachment. No issues with it at all.

Also couldn't find any second hand baby stores, but might check out the Sallies while out jic.

I probably wouldn't get the P & T one, we did and it is brilliant as it is lightweight and great for travelling, (we took ours to the US), but it is fiddly at the beginning to get up and down, the mattress touches the ground and is quite thin and you can't tuck sheets or blankets in. if you are just going from one place to another in a car and have a reasonable amount of room, then the more classic portacots are easier and more comfortable.

Yeah I just saw the P&T one and went NOPE! Had a look at the kingston Royale 3 in 1 but then ran into a family member who said we can have hers as next time her grandkid comes over he'll be in a big bed so score!
Thanks everyone!

I would highly recommend getting a secondhand one off trade me. There are plenty listed, most in great condition and the going price seems to be $30-60. I got my Kingston on there for $30, good deal I thought!

Wow $30!! Bargain!! I've got this one until MIL Auntie gets another grandkid, so that'll be until she's 2.

We only use our KinderKot when we are travelling or away from home and it states it can be used up to 5 years old.
