I'm looking for a car-seat for my 15 month old as the one I have now is just not working for me. I live on an Island and am often taking it out of one car, carrying it on ferry then onto taxi then onto another car. I'm looking for one that is easy to get in and out of car/s and generally transportable. One that has a recline function would be great but not mandatory. (I think these are few and far between at this age?) I have been looking at the Recaro Young Sport (but this is VERY expensive) and the P&Tedds Tott XT (but I've been reading a post that says it can be difficult to feed the seat-belt through on this one). Does anyone have experience on this topic and can make recommendations? many thanks!

A friend of mine have a Supernanny one, I doesn't have a tether strap and is quite small so shoud be easier to move around then many others. They are also pretty cheap but have all the safety regulations. I think you can buy them new of trademe or they have an online shop but I don't know the website. Good luck finding one!

I have a Go Safe one & that was pretty easy to shift between cars when Alia was little. The only thing to hold was the reclining arm & the tether strap. It is a relatively small size as well. Kinda like this one http://www.gosafe.com.au/pages/carseats_boulevard.php - here

What about a cosco? they are quite light, but the seatbelt threads thru the seat so that might be a pain?
